Scientifica 2021

The drive to study nature is one of science’s oldest motivations. But anything a scientist creates is by definition man-​made. Does this mean it has to be considered synthetic? For researchers who create new products, nature often serves as a source of inspiration. And many of the products that result from basic research are aimed at enabling a “natural” life – particularly when it comes to medicine. The relationship between humans and nature, or our perception of nature, is another area of great interest to science.

When and where will Scientifica 2021 be held?

Scientifica 2021 will be held from Saturday, 4 September to Sunday, 5 September in the main buildings of ETH and the University of Zurich (UZH), and on the Hönggerberg and Irchel campuses.
